Digital Saheli trains women entrepreneurs from underserved communities in practical digital tools—social media, Canva, WhatsApp Business and online storytelling—so they can grow their businesses, amplify their voices, and secure real economic opportunities.
Why Social Media Marketing is Important?
Across India, many talented women create beautiful products—handcrafted bags, garments, artwork, and more. Yet their businesses often remain confined to their neighborhoods because they lack the digital skills to showcase their work online. Without tools like social media, digital catalogs, or storytelling, their reach and income remains limited, holding back both their creativity and their independence.
Our Story
Digital Saheli began with Maya Aunty, a 70-year-old cancer survivor from Mumbai who handcrafted tote bags to support underprivileged patients. She had the skill and the mission but lacked digital reach. By helping her set up Instagram, create reels, and tell her story online, I saw her sales and her impact grow. Inspired, I began working with more women like her, which led to workshops for over 200 women across India. Today, Digital Saheli continues to equip women entrepreneurs with practical digital tools, tutorials, and community support, in partnership with organisations like The Bombay Foundation of Deaf Women (BFDW) and All India Foundation of Deaf Women (AIFDW).
Our Solution
Hands-on Workshops
We run bite-sized, practical sessions on Instagram basics, creating reels, making digital catalogues, and setting up WhatsApp Business. Each workshop is demo + practice focused so participants leave with real assets.
Virtual Workshops & Training Programs
Workshops are delivered virtually in regional languages and focus on low-bandwidth, low-cost tools (Canva, WhatsApp, phone-based photography) so the lessons are immediately usable.
Ongoing Support
Recorded modules are posted on Instagram and we host an active WhatsApp community for follow-up help, feedback and peer support.
