When Inclusion Meets Innovation:
Digital Saheli’s Collaboration with AIFDW

About AIFDW

Founded in 1995, the All India Foundation for Deaf Women (AIFDW) is a trailblazing nonprofit organization committed to empowering women with hearing impairments across India. With over 17 chapters nationwide, AIFDW has positively impacted more than 15,000 women, focusing on skills development, entrepreneurship, education, and social inclusion.

Join us as we advance this vision together—bridging technology, accessibility, and opportunity to uplift women nationwide.

Inclusivity in Action

In a pioneering collaboration with the All India Foundation of Deaf Women (AIFDW), we transformed digital training to be genuinely inclusive. Together, we co-created sign language–integrated video modules that enable deaf and hard-of-hearing women to independently and confidently acquire valuable digital skills.

These accessible and engaging video lessons, led by Ms. Anjali Rane of AIFDW, are available on                  and cover practical topics like setting up Instagram business accounts, creating effective bios, strategic hashtag use, and timing posts for maximum engagement.

Nationwide Reach and Impact

Navyaa, our lead trainer, has conducted comprehensive workshops—both in-person and virtual via Zoom—with the heads of all 17 AIFDW-affiliated training centers across India’s cities. These sessions have strengthened the digital presence of the centers, enabling the 3,700 women in their network to enhance their income-generating activities.

Together, Digital Saheli and AIFDW are redefining digital empowerment—where innovation meets inclusion, ensuring that every woman, regardless of hearing ability, finds a platform to thrive and grow.
